BOOM! Studios expands its Magic: the Gathering line of comics with an all-new one-shot.
Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro have announced that Magic: Ajani Goldmane #1 is coming this August from BOOM! Studios. This special one-shot comic will be written by Seanan McGuire (Spider-Gwen: Ghost Spider) with art by Ariel Olivetti (Conan).
In this issue, we will follow the fierce and loyal planeswalker Ajani Goldmane as he delves into his past to uncover truths about himself. As we follow the brave healer, he will face a threat far beyond his capabilities. “Ajani Goldmane is a perfect guide to the Magic multiverse, because he’s brave enough to go anywhere and magnanimous enough to talk to the locals—and maybe learn something no one’s ever known before!” said Kathleen Wisneski, Editor, BOOM! Magic: Ajani Goldmane #1 will be available for sale in August 2022 at local comic book shops or at the BOOM! Studios webstore. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and Kindle.
